A New Politics And A New Hope

People in our country had lost hopes from politics. In a silent way we had accepted that nothing is going to change. The system has got corrupted so deeply that now nothing can cure it. We had started living with this fact that corruption has become an inevitable part of the system and we will have to deal with it in our own ways. We have seen many elections where criminals get tickets and win as well. We have witnessed alcohol and money being distributed on the previous nights of elections. MPs & MLAs being bought and sold for millions and billions of rupees. We had accepted that without giving bribes, no file will move in government offices. Whoever comes in power, whatever they say in their election rallies, the system will remain same. Recent scams like Coalgate, 2G spectrum and CWG, again made our thought processes stronger that we are helpless and we cannot do anything to change our country.

Then one old man suddenly started raising his voice against corruption. He sat on fast against the corrupt system. And soon thousands and lakhs of people, the common people, those who were depressed, suddenly found voice. This voice became stronger and stronger and reached in the premises of Parliament. The place where few chosen one had started thinking that they are supreme. No one can challenge them, no one can question them and no one can stand in front of them. The revolution started by Shri Anna Hazare and the team did shake the thrones of those sitting in power but finally nothing happened. In fact they said or even challenged the common man to fight elections, make their own government and make whatever laws they want to make. Such an arrogance from those who used to fold hands in front of us before being elected was painful. I personally wanted Anna ji to give us a political alternative which he had hinted as well. 

Then a guy, Arving Kejriwal, who came into limelight during this revolution decided to take on this challenge. 

The two political parties made fun of the new party which strategically named itself as AamAadmi  Party and somehow got connected to the feelings of the common man. The two big parties Congress and BJP were not able to sense the anger which was brewing inside the common man. They were unable to see that slowly slowly the whole nation and even Indians who are staying abroad also started joining this new party or I must say a new political revolution. 

The time when these two big parties were busy taking unknown funds of thousands of crores of rupees, this new party requested the people of the country to donate as much as they can and started putting all the details on their website. From here itself the journey towards a clean system had begun. Now the question was, who will contest elections from this new party? From where they will get candidates with a clean image? Soon AAp had 70 candidates whom the people of Delhi only had chosen. Still the two big parties thought that these are insects of rain and will die soon. On one side, where the big politicians of the two national parties were busy in doing rallies across Delhi, the AAP candidates were going door to door to understand the problems of each household. Again the two big parties failed to understand what people actually want. AAP made manifestos for each constituency and yes, this was something unheard in the history of Indian politics.

By now at least BJP had smelled the rat. They copied this strategy of AAP and announced to make 70 manifestos for each constituency. Hilariously they made just three. Now the TV channels had also started realising that AAP has actually made ground in Delhi and is going to give tough competition to the established parties. 

Finally what happened, everybody knows. A spectacular show by a one year old party shook both the national parties from their roots. Interestingly they started appraising the new party and even said that they need to learn from AAP. 

Now, my point over here is that this new party has actually changed the dynamics of Indian politics. They have been successful in at least making these arrogant MPs & MLAs realise that they exist because of the common man, the common man does not exist because of them. I don't know what AAP will do in future, but one thing is sure that it has made all the political parties to start considering common man in their agenda. 

I hope that now onwards if not whole but a substantial part of politics will change.

And in my opinion the biggest change which has happened because of this new party AAP, is that the people and especially the youth of this country has once again started taking interest in politics. No they don't want to join it but they want to participate in its functioning. They are ready to keep a check on government and are ready to keep the government on its toes for every decision making they will do.

This is a positive change and this will change the way politics used to happen in India.

IPL : A game of cricket or a way to make illegal money????????

 So finally its clear and out.....Rs 40,000 crore bet on this IPL.   Whose money is this? Who all are involved? Where does this money go? And most importantly where this money is used? Many questions but no answers, only guesses. Delhi police arrested three players of Rajasthan Royals in connection with betting on IPL matches. But is it the whole case or just the tip of an iceberg? News channels said that these players were given around Rs 60 lac each for fixing one over of there overs. And bookies made around Rs 20 crore from each over which were fixed. Imagine the amount of money involved in a full match.

Big business houses own these teams. They have invested millions and billions of money on these teams. For them it is a part of investment and every business men invest only to get profit out of it. For us it is another form of cricket but for them it is another opportunity to make money. 

Apart from it, if you observe the whole ambit of IPL, you will find more of glamour than cricket. Everybody is talking about the cheerleaders, after match parties, involvement of famous celebrities more than about the game of cricket. Even players are more in news for things other than their performances in the ground.

Money, stardom, parties,etc. have become heavier than the core game of cricket.

Most of the players who have never seen such things in their entire career are getting so much of this together that it has become difficult for them to handle all of this.

Police said that three games of IPL 6 were fixed. But the type of cricket played in many of the matches made us think otherwise. I was amazed to see few of the catches dropped in some matches. It seems that the whole event is not about the game but only about making money.

Now if you say that only these three players namely Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan of Rjasthan Royals were involved and rest of the game is clean, than I doubt. police itself is claiming that underworld's involvement cannot be ignored. 

The irony is that underworld puts money on such events and makes money out of it and then uses the same for terrorist activities in our country.

Yesterday only i heard the news in Aaj Tak channel that it seems that the final of IPL will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indian will win this event.

So if everything is fixed then what is the use of holding tournaments.Why are you playing with the emotions of people for whom cricket is like a religion.

I think if police or BCCI or Govt., is not capable of stopping this racket of match fixing then this event should be banned. anyways what is the use of watching games where results are already fixed.

Delhi Among Top 10 Cities Which Tourists Hate

Recently CNNGo published a list of cities which tourists love to hate, and not to my surprise Delhi made it eighth in the list. Reasons for it you can find in today's, 09 Sept'12, Times Of India. The newspaper interviewed many foreigners and one thing everyone said that Delhi is full of cheaters. As soon as you will enter the city, people will start trying to make fool out of you in one or other way. The best role is played by the autowalas. Forget about the foreigners, Delhi autowalas will not spare their own countrymen. None of them is ready to go by meter. And if you insist on going by meter they will move ahead. They are not even afraid of police (reasons you may know better). Every wall is a public toilet. People shamelessly starts urinating on the busiest places as well. You will not find dustbins for kilometres and if there is one no one is bothered to throw the garbage in it. Many a times people ask me that as you have stayed in Mumbai as well for long time, which city do you think is better? Without giving  another thought my answer would be Mumbai. Mumbaikars are very humble and helpful people. They are very professional in their approach. They are busy in their own life and do not pay much attention in your life until unless required. Here in Delhi, people are more interested in your life then of their own. Too much of showbiz is the main feature of Delhiites. People here are not sad by their own sorrows but because of the happiness of others. And the biggest problem is that everyone knows one or other big personality here, hence law and order is not for them. Every third car would bear a plate of being a president or vice-president of bla bla party. Roadside food of Delhi is the worst. I would suggest not to eat, specially the non-veg food, on roadside. You ask anyone the address of some place, and even if that person has no clue about the place, he will tell you the address. Delhiites are too good in exaggerating things, and I really mean that. I am here since one and half here and I am not in love with this city at all.

No city is good or bad, its the resident of that place who make it good or bad. The attitude of people over here is very arrogant and I think that is the main reason I am not in love with this city.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A GOOD SALES PERSON

Are you afraid of the sales job??????????? Remember one thing, wherever you are, you are selling something or other..either product or service. So what does it take to be a good sales person? According to my experience, selling is all about relationship building. It all depends how good you are in relationship building. If you think you are impatient or cannot control your temper, I would request you never go for a sales job. Here you have to deal with several person of different behaviour. You have to dealt with everyone accordingly. At no point of time you can be harsh or rude. You have to be extrovert in nature. But remember, don't lie to increase sales. By lying you may increase sales once but you will lose your customer and his faith on you forever for the next time. Here are some tips to be a successful sales person (according to my experience), first of all be very polite to your customer. Always be truthful in such a manner that it should not affect your sales. You should have intense knowledge about your product. Never do fake promises to your customer. Let him speak and clarify his doubts. If you don't know anything, ask your seniors instead of giving wrong information. Try to establish friendly relationship with customer by talking about the things of his interest. 

Sales job is very tough, but it is the most rewarding too. So, if you think you have that special ability to convince people, it is the right job for you.  

JOSEPH KONY - MOST WANTED WAR CRIMINAL

Do you know who is Joseph Kony?? I came to know about this man through you tube. I saw a video about this person uploaded by an NGO called Invisible Children. So what is special about this person? I just want to inform people through my blog about the heinous crimes of this criminal. Joseph Rao Kony heads Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), a Ugandan guerilla group. The LRA group operates in Uganda, the democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic and South Sudan. LRA fights against the government and is responsible for various war crimes. Kony is accused of kidnapping small girls and boys from villages in Central Africa and killing their parents and relatives. He converts girl child into sex slaves and boys into war soldiers. Invisible Children  a group started in 2005 is engaged in attracting the attention of world leaders towards this person, so that the world can unite to help the people of Uganda and Central Africa. They recently did many activities around the world to convince the powerful personalities of the world to act against Kony and to restore peace and prosperity in LRA affected areas. Basics of an Interview

Your appearance matters a lot in an interview. So next time when you are getting ready for an interview make sure that you know the basics of it. First and the most important factor is, how you look? You have to sell yourself to the employer, and hence make sure that you look perfect. Would you like to buy anything which has got filthy packaging? 

Males should wear proper formal, that is, trouser, shirt, tie (if possible) or formal suit and formal shoes. Though in India, ethnic wear comes under formal wear, but I would like to suggest to wear western formal for an interview. Even if you are wearing ethnic dress (slawar-kameez or sari), make sure it is simple and sober.

Sit straight in front of the interviewer and don't do excessive hands movement. It shows  nervousness and tension. Be polite while answering. Remember, the person sitting on the other side of the interview table knows a lot more than you. So don't think he/she is a fool,and whatever you will say he will accept it. If you don't know any answer, be brave to accept it, instead of giving vague answers and making fool of yourself.

Read your resume thoroughly and be prepared to get questioned on the content of your resume. The worst impression on the interviewer is that you yourself don't know what is there on your resume.

Do a thorough research about the company before going for the interview. It shows that you have done your homework well and that you are really keen for the job.

Last but not the least, have a good knowledge about your subject and be confident.
